Millma S.A. is a family owned and operated company which specializes in the manufacture of alpaca and pima cotton knitwear for the international high-end fashion market. The company produces men's and women's full fashioned sweaters, vests, dresses, skirts, and accessory items such as hats, scarves, and shawls, in its factory in the Andean city of La Paz, Bolivia.

Millma's products incorporate traditional ethnic textile designs as well as influences of modern art, in contemporary styles and colors. While Millma is mostly known for its multicolored, elaborately figured knitwear, the company also offers a full line of men's and women's solid color knits in baby alpaca. Millma's knitwear is sold worldwide, reaching over twenty countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Latinamerica. In Bolivia, the company markets its products through its own stores, MILLMA BOLIVIA, in the city of La Paz.

The company began its operations in 1985. Millma's goal was to produce contemporary clothing in the same timeless, painstaking way as the pre-Columbian textile tradition, with a singular dedication to excellence in design, color, attention to detail and finishing. Millma knits are fully fashioned on manual knitting machinery and finished by hand. The sweater designs are intricate jacquard and intarsia knits with elaborate embroidery, often containing as many as thirty colors.

Through the use of the finest fibers indigenous to the Andes and the able hands of local artisans, Millma has been able to create sophisticated handcrafted garments unique in a world of mass produced products.
